A seasoned executive shaped by careers with General Electric and Johnson & Johnson, Donna understands the challenges of today’s leaders. They have to set the vision, despite uncertainty; stay steady, yet agile; communicate with gravitas and intention; and inspire and influence people from diverse backgrounds and across generations.

Donna works with leaders to build executive muscle in this environment, while staying true to who they are.

Since 2006, Donna has coached senior leaders and their teams from start-ups to the Fortune 100. She works primarily in the financial services, technology, professional services, healthcare, media, and retail industries.

Beyond one-to-one and team coaching

Donna facilitates groups of executive women for Chief (a private network of senior women at the top of their organizations) and leads peer-to-peer advisory forums of senior executives for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. She is a Council Member for the Gerson Lehrman Group, providing expertise to leaders facing tough decisions.

Donna has been a featured speaker, panelist, and workshop presenter on a variety of topics including the human side of leading change, executive presence, influence, interpersonal communication and the power of mindset.

Education and professional certifications

Donna earned her leadership coaching certification from Georgetown University, and holds the distinction of Professionally Certified Coach (PCC). She has an MBA, with a concentration in Organizational Behavior, and is certified to administer several types of executive assessments.

Before coaching

She brings to her coaching nearly 20 years of high-performance, front-line leadership with General Electric and Johnson & Johnson. Donna joined J&J as a member of the start-up team charged with commercializing a wellness business for the corporate market. She managed the national consulting team, and subsequently held key roles in marketing, technology-licensing and business development. At GE, Donna held positions in leadership development and succession planning (GE Aerospace) and union relations (GE Aircraft Instruments), culminating with responsibility for all human resource strategies and services as the Eastern Region HR Head for GE Health Care.

On a personal note

Donna enjoys adventures, community building, the arts, and outdoors. One of her favorite sayings is from Will Rogers: “Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.” She believes learning is a life-long pursuit.
